Ellicott City already carries a powerful mix of history, local business, creative energy, resilience, and community pride. Curating Community starts by making it easier for those people, ideas, products, and services to find one another.
The goal is not to replace the places and relationships that make a community distinctive. It is to give them more ways to connect, participate, share, and grow.
Services belong in the community story, not on a separate directory page.
Our earlier Ellicott City services page highlighted the kinds of connections that happen naturally when people know who can help: local retail, custom work such as engraving, creative services, and other skills that surface through relationships.
Rather than maintaining a separate list, we are folding that idea into Curating Community itself: learn what people can do, connect needs with capabilities, and make those connections easier to discover.
Ellicott City is the starting point, not the boundary.
The same idea has already reached beyond Maryland through relationships and community connections, including work and connections in San Diego. That is the model we want to keep learning from: start with real people in real places, then let useful ideas travel through the network.
We do not need a separate page for every city. We need a model that can work wherever people want stronger local connections.

Games, shared displays, event tools, productivity tools, and small-business experiments give people a low-friction way to experience what Curating Community means instead of only reading about it.
